About UsWest Essex Macmillan Cancer Support and Information Service has been developed as a joint venture between Macmillan Cancer Support and West Essex Primary Care Trust to ensure people affected by cancer have access to good quality, comprehensive and appropriate information and support. How Can We Help?We have an advice line, (01279) 698673, which is open between 09:30 - 2.30pm. Monday - Friday. There is an answer phone for out of hours calls. The advice line is manned by experienced staff who are able to take requests for help and support, provide information or signpost onto other agencies. We provide a supporting service to allow patients, relatives and carers to access suitable national and local information about cancer, cancer prevention and local services.
